OSAPAC

Click to go directly to site

Ever wonder how the software and programs used on school computers gets there?  Or how teachers/students get access to those great databases or websites with passwords?

As it turns out, the Ontario Software Acquisition Panel Advisory Committee (OSAPAC) is a committee that makes those decisions.

If you go to their website you can actually see a list of all approved software in which OSAPAC has acquired a license for schools in Ontario to use.

The information given on the website also lets teachers know if they can download the software for home use, as well as students.

Take a look and you might see something that you like.

Also, if you know of a program that might be useful within the school, you can offer suggestions to the committee and they might take it into consideration.
